Icon6 J series swap

Has anyone done a em2 swap with a j series engine yet? If not here it comes... Now I'm an accord guy I have 3 a 94 coupe automatic (f22a4) a standard 02 coupe (h23a4) and a auto 02 coupe (j30a1)... I was gonna do the swap to the other accord and make it stick but then I said y? I like the ulev it saves money on gas like crazy and idk I just luv my baby then I said To myself I have a civic that's just parked up so it looks like thats where ima go with it... Any advice would b appreciated I know j engines have been put in the ef and ek what about the em2?

Why does the 94 accord have a F22a4 and if you like the good gas mileage of the accord with the ULEV why would you swap out the motor of the even more gas efficient vehicle?

Actually I just realized none of those motors you listed are even ULVE.

My advice is keep the civic OEM since it sounds like you love good MPG's and sell the V6 coupe before the auto tranny gives out.

Apologize correction as u see it was late wen I wrote a few posts so I wasn't totally "coherent" few to many shots... But Wolfgang Wolfe wolfy I ment f23a4 for the 02 and I ain't a civic fan but decided since I have a civic that's perfectly good y not make it POWERFUL AND FAST.... Lighter body and more work equals fun for me... And I got the j engine n tranny n all (actually the whole car) so ya wanna help? Apreciated if not it costs I nothing to press next thread...

ok well post up what you need to know, you sya you have the engien and trans and full car so this **** shoudl eb easy for you.

You need to yankt he harness from your civic and your donr j car, send them both to don at rpm, then while he is splicing them all together for you, you need to yank the civic motor out and then yank out the j motor form donar car.

You then need to purchase some mounts for this swap(hasport), then its easy breezy from there in.

the hardest part willbe getting your harness situtaion figured out as depednign on what car and trans and everything.

first Hasport will have to begin offering a mount kit for a J-series in an "ES" EM2.

Well LUCKILY for me I just HAPPEN to be a welder with a tig mig n stick welder ;-)... So... I'll just get the mounts from hasport... I been bz working on OTHER things this is a hobby and a fun past time but it don't pay the bills YET... Just finished making a cherry picked and just got pictures of a engine cradle so I can make 2-3 so I have where to put all these damn engines... Lol... Couldn't I cut the mounts off the accord and weld them onto the civic... And in one of my brainstorming moments I realized in going from a apx 250 1.7 liter engine in the civic to a almost 400 lb 3.0 would I need to add any reinforcement to the chasis? AND its a SUPER tall engine next to the civic engine, so with that said I saw a hatch with a k swap and the forced induction, sticking out the hood... I was thinking how cool and possible would it be to make a hole in the hood n follow suit? Let me know what you all think...

Keep I. Mind I have the whole car with the I series engine so tranny and all wiring is in place I'm just gonna move it ALL...

Thanks I'll keep ya all posted... I mean both vehicles are 02 honda coupes except one is the ulev the other is the v6 so I figure just take everything out of one and put it in the other is it really that difficult if I have BOTH vehicles in their ENTIRETY?
