Two Different IAC valves for civic? blue and purple
hello i have a 97 civic hatchback and the idle air control valve went bad. i bought a new one online and i noticed the one i bought has a blue denso sticker on it while the oem one has a purple denso sticker. whats the difference?
It could either be.
1. Country or warehouse of manufacture.
2. Updated or improved part from Denso.
3. Subdivision of Denso.
4. Aftermarket part claiming to be Denso.
There's a lot more reasons but you get the idea.. I personally wouldn't loose sleep over it, as long as you have some warranty or buyers protection.
