Default [poll] my own RB style bodykit.

Whats up honda-tech?!

For the past months i have been thinking alot about making my own bodykit. I have not yet made any real pieces because i need to find out how exactly to do this.

I have been inspired by the frs rocket bunny (TRA Tokyo / 6666 customs).
Now this idea has been in my mind for the past months and now i have made a drawing (in photoshop) to get an idea of what it would kind of look like.

Now bare in mind (or however this is written) that this is just an idea. And if i would actually go through with this it will take a lot of time before it's actually done.

This is the idea i have:

So please let me know what you guys think.

I know it's not "clean" or anything in that direction. But i just loved that kit so much that i just can't get out of my mind.

edit-
Also, i would'nt mind any feedback. Reactions are very welcome!

Recommend a less cartoonish drawing so we can see exactly what you want to do. Do you have any body work experience?

If you could pull it off I think it could be cool......but seems like more hassle than its worth imo

Maybe buy a FRS lol

I wouldn't ask the opinions of others, since you're the one who has to look at it, drive it, and pay for it. If you're happy at the end of the day, who cares what others have to say?

You have a very good point there.. I'm just a bit curious though about what others would think of it

I think you'd need a powerful setup to go in such an aggressive look

I'm a real big Rocket Bunny fan, and would love to see this done.
You'll need bumpers and side skirts to go with it.

I hope you'll make a dc2 version also.

I think that it had the potential to look really mean and aggressive.

I'd encourage it.

As you might be able to see on the second picture. Front lip and side skirts would be made as well. Not too extreme, just a bit more out there so it would fit the fenders

I have been wanting to do something along the lines of this with an S2000. Looks great on the hatch! I say change that front bumper to something a bit more aggressive and keep the rest! GL!

Good point, was kind of thinking it might have been too basic on the front.

Thanks! I'm starting to think more and more to actually start on this. Just have to start looking into the exact ways to do this best. Also have to make a start-up budget. Think i might need a donor car for it :/

obviously a 5 axis machine like the one used to design the original kit is out of budget. Two choices left, foam to shape the kit or clay. Most popular clay used in sculpting car stuff is called Y2klay. Check it out and get to making!
