Default SynapseTurbo.com - Welding & Custom Fabrication Thread

Over the past 8 years we have fabricated many parts as well as completed many custom projects. Whether it be a custom manifold, turbo kit, roll cage or complete motor swap, we can do it all. I will begin with sharing some work both old & new.

If you like what you see be sure to like & follow us on facebook as well!

Here is a custom twin scroll 06+ Civic Si manifold. This particular one was designed for a twin scroll GT35R turbo.

Standard V-band B-series Ramhorn

Here is a car, you don't see often, that we made custom headers & exhaust for. The first person to post up what brand/manufacturer it is will receive a free SynapseTurbo T-shirt

Thanks Andy! We hope the same for you. All is well, we've been very busy working a wide variety of projects. We just finished up this motor build & custom twin turbo kit last week. 1994 Supra with twin V-band GTX2860R's

Looks like a p1800 from the front, but I don't recall them having that body line on the side. Could be maybe a Jensen or something made by AC cars? I'm going to have to go pick the brains of my classic car friends. It's bugging me that I can't put my finger on what that is.

Very nice work, I'm impressed! Are you doing the welding or is it another employee?

Its not a Porsche, or a Volvo, or Jensen. In the first picture, the size of the car can be a little deceiving. Here is another "hint"

There are 3 of us that share the welding responsibility & work. Steve is very good (he did the 2jTT) and Nick is catching up... quickly

Here is Nick doing work!

Here is an oldie but a goodie - 900hp Garrett Core custom Subaru Intercooler. It fits behind the stock bumper.

This was the beginning of one of the more complicated manifolds. For a Twin Scroll T4 2J with a JDM 1JZ-VVTI head.

for the above collector, looks like the two wastegate ports are going to run into each other...unless you are adding onto it before the v-band's???

Glad you got the shirt!

you are also correct on the wastegate ports running into each other. The ports are using 1.5" nominal piping that will merge into a single 2.0" nominal pipe for a single 60mm Tial Gate

The customer currently has the manifold & is working on the swap in an older chassis. Once he determines where the wastegate needs to be located, he'll will have us complete it.

Wastegates down back through the center is a nice touch, I did a few 1J VVTi manis in actual JZXs and there was room for days.

Thanks again for the compliments and tepid1 your work is top notch as well!

Here are a few DOM road racing cages we've done in the past.

EG (built to comply with HondaChallenge)

H2 HondaChallenge S2k - with custom mounts for the hardtop. The customer also requested Nascar bars on the passenger side.

Brett's BMW M3

and last but not least a few pictures of 1 (of 2) 06-11 Si SCCA World Challenge spec cages

I can add to this soon. I'm Nick I'm the guy pictured welding. I get yelled at daily for taking tons of pictures of all of my work so, While the guys are busy filling orders, phone calls and other shop stuff I can upload some of my own stuff either when I get a break or at night time when I get home after work.
