i'm no expert on this subject, but i think you're better off just getting an LS if you're gonna go the turbo route. i'm pretty sure the stock compression is too high on a gsr so you'd have to mess with that first.

Yeah that's true. The GS-R does offer better over stock but most likeyl you're gonna replace everything. The LS could be bought for cheaper and with some change, upgrades would be easlier.

Gsr is nice for boost. Type-R is supposed to be less boost friendly but could be due to the fact that many of the R owners are hardc0 about being all-motor.

6psi on a B18b vs 6psi on a B18C1, which one will make more power?

Not in the long run.. I assume that you'll start changing/ replacing a lot of parts so it won't make that much of a difference in the long run.. Hopefully in the short term though, you can save some money on the initial purchase of the car.

With the same boost, GS-R will make more power.

The reason I said LS; I was reffering to my self, but stock for stock the gsr would make more power. In the long run I beleive the LS is a better deal.
1)cheaper initial investement
2)Lower compression
4)Ls gears are better for boost
3)About the shock, struts, tower braces etc etc, Most people are gonna upgrade anyway, one thing the gsr has is the vtec. But if you are serious in the b18b, you can built it into some serious beast.

guys trust me on this Majinbuu hates civics, dont even bother to suggest him to get any hatchback cars, and when he says hes going for turbo that mean just a little boost, we are not talking about over 10 PSI my R is prolly going to be 8psi , just dont want to hurt the engine...

majinbuu - u know who is waiting for you to get money to buy boost together, so hurry up

i see violence posted so often as the solution to car problems. so many young men, so much testosterone. and its not like I'm some 50-year-old making this observation: I myself am a 16 year old male.

I'd be pissed, but I wouldn't talk about killing people or beating people up. Its just a car, that's what insurance is for, and what is getting loud and angry going to do? I think it is stupid when two people get in an *accident* and one of them starts bitching the other out. Come on, they must feel bad already.
