Default AC Question 2000 Si

So after driving for about 30 mins the ac stops blowing air. It starts throwing out little specs of water through the vents and If I raise the **** for more air on the ac it doesnt make a difference. Has anyone ever encountered this? it is very annoying

Not sure I understand the problem.

Does the A/C blow cold normally and then once in a while the air instead blows warm?

And only when the air blows warm do water droplets blow out the vents?

And what do you mean by raise the ****?

Yea, it's called you have a 14 year old car. Inevitably the seals on the ac system go bad or the compressor goes bad. You will need to troubleshoot to see if you're low on freon, figure out where the leak is, and fix it. Working on these ac systems is notoriously expensive. Good luck.

Your evaporator is freezing, blocking the airflow. The a/c thermostat is not working properly. Turn the compressor off by pressing the A/C button. Set blower speed to number 1 position. Run the blower until strong air comes off the vent. Press the a/c button again and observe if the evaporator freezes again. If it does, have your a/c thermostat tested.

^Seems like a reasonable diagnosis.
