Default 2001 CRV misfire

I just got a 01 CRV 115k miles. Im a car dealer and buy from auctions. A lot of cars that go threw auctions get sabotaged by buyers before they get auctioned so they get them cheaper. On this one I found the transmission solenoid unplugged so the tranny wouldn't shift , gave it the flashing D. So I know someone messed with it for sure. I am getting cylinder 4 misfire and the flashing check engine light. Prior to auction this car was graded and the inspectors would have caught the check engine. It comes back after clearing in about 30 seconds. So it wasn't missing when graded. I checked plugs and wires. Anyone know of any sensor or injector that could be unplugged that would cause only 4 to miss? Im stumped.

Thanks

Well you can't really check plugs and wires by just looking at them. Switch them around with another cylinder and clear the codes and then see if the misfire jumps to that new sport. If not, then you know it's not that.

It could be something inside the dizzy that's acting up now or it could be a fuel injector.
