bent rim?

Hey can you tell if you have a bent rim by just looking at it? or do you have to let it spin to see

thanks need answer quickly and appreciated

It must be spun.

There is a tolerance of about 1.5mm up-and-down and side-to-side, so even a rim that wobbles is not necessarily "bent".
