B16 not running right! HELP slugish

Default B16 not running right! HELP slugish

Ok so i finaly got my em1 running, i got it from the auction came with a 3 inch exhaust, i didnt realize till later the so i put dc headers greddy axel back and a big resonator and cat car sounds amazing and deep, my car is running sluggish idk if its cause it need a tune up or just need to change the oil,
Or i have no back pressure but put it like this my d series ran harder than my si.:-( which is sad, my rpm on the si dont jump high and when i give it has it takes a while to pick up. Vtec cracks cause you hear it but cant feel it,! Idk wats the problem

you dont want to hear or feel vtec.

it helps to know more info like if you have any check engine lights

Yess my check engine light is on it recently came on when i changed the brake lights on and dropped the gas tank but the car was running the same befor i did that

I was always under the impression you will almost always hear vtec. But you definitely never want to feel it.

Feeling vtec means either too soon or too late of engagement so that is no bueno OP
