Default Rear wheel bearing help

My 2005 CRV AWD driver's side rear wheel bearing is going. Any step by steps on how to replace it with pics?

I have a Haynes manual and now see it's short comings for this type of job. It is very poorly written for a job like this. I did order the Honda Shop Manual on CD which should be here next week, but I know there is always some knowledgeable people who have good ideas, so hoping for this here.

I know how to remove the axle bolt, rear brakes, drum and sensor, but not sure about the drive shaft and the three bolts that connect to the knuckle. I have a good shop that will press out the old bearing and press in my new bearing, so I think this job is doable for me with a little help.

i do know if you don't have a press, then you will have to have a shop replace it in the hub

Looks pretty straight forward unlike the 1st gen crv. That was a pita with the removal of the whole trailing arm..

If it was straight forward then there probably would be a "how to" thread on this or other forums, but nothing, zero lol. That tells me everyone gave it to their Honda dealer whereas I just don't want to succumb to that, especially at $600 + to do the job.

Any automotive shop can do it, You don't need to go to Honda to get it done tho.

Live in a small town and most of the mechanics are not well trained in that, especially for Honda's. They still have no problem charging $100+ an hour though for screwing up a job. Have a smart car too and no one in town will even touch it, but have done all the service myself and never thought it was too hard.

Anyone know a few details about the rear axle on a 2005 CRV AWD? If I take the axle nut off as well as the brakes, disc, sensor, pivot and trailing arm bolts etc, will the knuckle and hub slide forward out, or do I need to dismantle some parts of the axle as well?
