Default 91 CRX Wiring Issues

I have a 91 CRX with a d15b7/d16z6 mini me swap.
I have had many wiring issues with it mostly relating to the main relay.
I had the battery out of the car and replaced it but now the damn thing won't start.
Battery is fine, but the relay is clicking very fast and the check engine light is dimly lit and clicks along with the relay. Got a new relay and still doing the same thing. The only thing that is different (beside the battery) is that I noticed a metal connection from the fan assembly, holding the fan wire is broken. Don't think it has any bearing on the issue.

Thank you for any help, this car is going to be the death of me. Non stop wiring issues

I'd be suprised if you didn't have any issues, probably call you a liar. Anyways, maybe your ECU ground isn't good. The one on the thermostat. I know when I forgot to put that on, my main relay buzzed along and my ECU (OBD0, so the CEL light is on it) was solid red. Definitely didn't even try to start it, but I assume it wouldn't have.

Just check the three grounds: thermostat, valve cover, transmission. If your starter isn't working, it is grounded through the transmission ground. Make sure it is connected very well. And maybe you missed a power wire somewhere.

I'll be back... with another suggestion!
