Engine code and VIN relationship?
Not talkingabout d16z6. Im wondering if the six numbers stamped on my engine block below the d16z6 have a meaning. Are they supposed to match the last six numbers of the VIN? also, above the d16 stamp there is a HA stamp. What does that mean? Heres my engine stamp

Im just trying to figure out if the last owner swapped in a different d16z6 for some reason. He DID do the manual tranny conversion, so its definitely not out of his skill set. Thanks
