Default Converting OBD to OBD1 and VTEC.

[ANSWERED] Im thinking of going with the B16A SIR II which is OBD1. I came across this harness but Im wondering if this is EVERYTHING (wiring related) I need to get this B16A going? I have the D15 which is DPFI.
http://www.hamotorsports.com/obd0-dpfi-to-obd1.html

[Question] Does the B16A SIR II use all the same parts as the B16A as far as axles, half shaft and all that good stuff? Basically, can I follow a swap guide from a OBD0 B16A? (Besides the wiring of course.)

This will be my first swap so please bare with me.

that jumper has almost everything you will need as far as wiring, except for the cooling fan switch wiring - your OBD0 engine has the cooling fan switch on the back of the block next to the oil filter (has big round black rubber boot on the connection) - the OBD1 engines have the cooling fan switch on the thermostat housing - you will need to rob the 2-wire connector for this switch (has yellow with green stripe wire and black wire) from the engine harness that comes with the B16 and splice it onto your DX engine harness to replace the stock connector

Thanks a lot for the info! Next question.

Engine doesn't matter.
Trans doesn't matter.
It's the intermediate shaft that you shoudl be concerned with.

Ok so I need 94-01 Integra axles, right? Is the intermediate shaft part of the axle assembly?

I did... The thing is I dont exactly know an axles assembly. Thats why I'm asking if the intermediate shaft is part of the axle assembly.

Also it says that most swaps come with the intermediate shaft, I'm looking at the swap im going to buy and it says it comes with a "half shaft." Is the half shaft another name for intermediate shaft?

yes, half shaft is another name - the intermediate shaft bolts onto the back of the block - one end goes into the transmission and the driver's side axle connects to the opposite end - with the intermediate shaft, the axles end up being essentially the same length rather than the stock unequal length axles - you won't know which axles you need until you get the actual intermediate shaft and then make the determination - you don't always get what you think you will - if you are getting the complete SIR2 swap, it may come with a transmission with a hydraulic actuated clutch and would typically use the 94 and up Integra axles - you would need to address the clutch operation when purchasing the mounts

intermediate shaft on left:
