94 dx civic left side front & back speakers not working, getting fustrated on how to figure out the problem. thought of somethings that could be the problem but yet still havent figured it out.

 

Do you have voltage to the speakers in question? Have you tried setting the balance on the radio to left side only?

 

i changed my front speaker connection. i took my front right speaker wire connection and put it on my left front speaker and it work! but barely though. it gets voltage but barely. i could here music but it wasnt as powerful as my right speaker. i also did a test and got a different speaker and connected to the left side and i still couldnt hear it that well. should i buy new wire connections for my speakers? change my radio? change the connection wires that plug into the radio or what? still need advice??? also i did zero everything and set my balance all the way to the left it got a bit louder in music but i had to turn my radio all the way up.

 

If your speakers arent getting enough voltage you've got some bad wiring. First trace the wires from the radio to each side of your car via under the dash. Shouldn't be to hard. Dont worry about the radio unless you really want something new. Its not to hard to do really.
