Default 91 CRX B18 Type R Questions

I am looking at a 91 honda CRX HF with a fresh JDM B18C Type R swap w/ LSD. The engine has the following:

Eagle connecting rods
titanium valve springs and retainers
ported head
Skunk2 intake manufold
4-2-1 header
3" stainless thermal research exhaust
AEM cold air intake

I was wondering if anyone knew how much horse power that engine could be putting out?

another question:

The car has 17" SSR rims with new nitto tires
rear coil over suspension with tokico blues all the way around
black widow body kit
full aluminum radiator

The owner says he is getting a 12.6@120mph and with NOS he is getting a 11.2@137mph. does this sound correct with all of the modifications that he is getting these time

Thanks to all that reply

Its possible but he would have to be putting about 240-250 at the wheels to trap 120. If it really is that fast all motor I doubt its very streetable cause its probably 13-14:1 compression.

My CRX with a B18CR and 12 psi from a GT30R only traps 117mph

he never dyno it but he thinks he is pushing 250 hp. he says its set up for a drag car but is driven on the street. he said it was bored and has different pistons in it too. i would guess he would have bumped up the compression.

it has a p72 head. it has a chipped ECU with wide band set up.

What is good about the P72 head and what is the wide band set up?

It's a Type R head isn't it? The B18C5 or something like that. If he is making 250 NA, that's a beast of a car. I've never seen that in real life. His trap speeds will probably be higher due to the instant power over a turbo set up. (I think, maybe I got that backwards) Is he running pump gas? An 11.2 in the 1/4 is wicked fast.

Considering I don't see cams listed... I'm going to make the assumption they are OEM ITR cams. I'll guess somewhere in the 200WHP 125-ish WTQ range.

You could just bring the car to a dyno....

My crx used to trap at 105MPH with 181 WHP, bone stock B18C5... back in 2000.

The difference between a 105mph trap, and 120mph trap is several thousands of dollars.

Also, ask what gas he is running. A 250whp 1.8 (or bigger) N/A motor is gonna have some serious compression. I doubt you can run 93 in it, not making that kind of power. Maybe it has a secondary street tune though?

also, on the transmission, the gold tag that has the serial number, the first 3 didgets are Y21. does these numbers/letters mean something?

Thanks to all that comment. you are helping me so much!

the owner has over 8,000 in the motor. 4,000 to purchase it from JDM; and he has over 4,000 in just parts, not including labor because he put them in himself. he has all the receipts.
