Ok only from a stop when I release the clutch I get a wurring noise. Not sure what it is but it doesn't happen all the time. Any input?

 

What gear? Stopped at a stop sign? Age of clutch? Miles?

 

It's probably the input shaft bearing bad. It starts making that sound when the clutch pedal is out when it's bad. When you're moving you just can't hear it.

 

234,000 on whole tranny no work done as far as I know. Still pulls strong. Usually in 1st gear. Is this a whole clutch replacement or is the bearing an internal issue. I'm not too familiar with standard trannys as far as internal work

 

You have to pull the tranny and it's inside the tranny. It might be best to pull the tranny yourself then call around to someone that will just replace the bearing and take the tranny to them.

 

I'll probably pull and replace the whole clutch assembly and bearings after talking to some folks and checking out videos it shouldn't be too bad to take care of
