Flashing D4 light HOnda Civic EX
I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX automatice with 1.6 vtech
We just replaced the transmission with a good used one...it shifts really good. The problem is that we just had to put in a new cooling fan sensor and now the D4 light will start to flash about 1 minute after starting to drive. It will not come on just idling in park or even in drive. The light didn't come on until we replaced the sensor. I have unhooked the battery...didn't work...replaced the thermostat...still flashes. All sensors are plugged in and all fluid levels are correct. Any ideas?

Well...it's fixed. I forgot that I had hooked the battery back up and then replaced the thermostat which required removing that sensor again. So, I unplugged the battery for about 30 min. and no more flashing d4 light
