Kleinubing rolled his Realtime ITR

AND Cunningham blew TWO, not one but TWO NSX engines.

i'll post pics of the wreckage early next week... such a horrible sight...

Two different things.
Road Atlanta in on speed tv now,
Kleinubing rolled @ VIR today.

I was right there at the oak tree when he did it. It was the worst ******* wreck I have ever seen in my life!

He was comming up the windy hill towards the oak tree turn, and he got off the road a bit, and the grass was wet, but he managed to get it back on the track(without lifting the throttle), and then went right accross the road off the other side. Then we saw the white marker signs flying up in the air as he nailed them. Then he hit the tires or something, and his car when airborne. The car fliped end over end, completely off the ground and landed on the roof. I had a feeling he was dead. It was that bad. One of the realtime guys was sitting on his scooter beside me, and he took off after him. A few seconds later the drive got out under his own power. F'ing Amazing...
The realtime guy on the scooter came back later and said the driver was okay, and the car was going to be fixed.
I'm wondering if they'll play the footage next weekend. All I can say, is it was an eye opener just how quick **** can happen.

good question. I remember in the past they limited his sc boost to keep things competitive. possibly added weight to the floorboard as well. I guess thats what happens when you kick *** like Petey does.

too bad about the Realtime ITR, but damn good thing Pierre is straight.

No matter what happens in the race, the ITR will retire with the Championship.

 

Cunningham and Kleinubig still have to finish!

whoa nelly, just got back from VIR.. Kleinubing won and cunningham got 5th, his NSX got 4th. hunter got Kleinubing's spoiler, and i got his front bumper (he also signed it). i had such an awesome time. those realtimers are the nicest guys you'll ever meet, expecially Fred Meyer who retired today, what a guy to all of the team. like hunter said "ill post pics later"

they drill holes in the quarterpanel to get the dent out... haha they were speedholes, they made him win. he was less than a second in front of the 2nd place.
