Default Crashed integra...keep or part out.

Rear ended someone, my car took the bigger hit all he got was a scuffed bumper. The damage on mine consists of broken front bumper pushed up rad support and a destroyed hood along with fender. There is no frame damage so I'm thinking of doing a jdm front end conversion. Will
Post pics other option is to part out but I think I'd be taking too big a loss

I vote for the front end conversion.
It really all depends on how much you like your car.

NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for your loss. If you like the JDM front, this is a good excuse to spend $ on it.

The rad support is bushed in and up on a strange angle along with the pass headlight is broken and I can't get the hood open without using a pry bar the latch is fucked and the rad is slightly bent also. I've dumped 4K into it in less then a year that I've had it. JDM front(98+) is around 800$ labour I still need to find a place that would know how/do it. not sure what to do it has a hole in the floor and paint is starting to bubble around the rear quarter panels sadly. there's a few things wrong with it but I love it not sure if i'm ready to dump another grand plus into it..

If you cant afford a jdm front end I say just get a carbon fiber, bumper and fix the radiator support and call it a day.

Properly? Pretty close to 3 grand. Or more.

There's a lot of bent metal to straighten before a professional shop will put their name on the job. Most of that bent metal is under the skin, where you can't see it; all of that needs to be straight before the skin can be straight.

You've got enough worries what with the OPP charge (I'm sure you got one) and your insurance increase; so if it were me, I'd just silicone the headlight to keep out water and leave the rest. Call the damage "battle scars".

I'm sure that's Warden and 401 in Toronto, by the way. It's an unusual interchange.

TheRealTegger, yup it's 401E collectors and Warden bridge. I didn't get charged was going maybe 80 and slammed the brakes wheels locked up as it was still wet from the rain. His car just has a scuff on the rear bumper somehow maybe 150$ in paint and buffing not even lol. I'll be removing the front bumper and inspecting the rad support and seeing how bad it is will pull rad and header also just so I have room if I can get it straight on my own which I may be able to and fix the latch and headlight the bracket broke not the housing. I can get a used bumper and hood then get the car painted perhaps.

Hard to see how bad it is with the bumper on but I rear ended a dude at probably 5-10mph, my bumper went under his so my hood and rad support took the hardest blow. It shoved the rad support in so far my fan had gotten crushed against the header. The headlights shattered, fog lights busted, hood destroyed, etc. I used tie straps and pulled the rad support out at least 4 inches, hammered everything as straight as possible and besides the hood, you wouldnt know it.

Rip it apart and see if you can beat it back into shape. Im glad to see I dont see major carnage, youve been working hard on that car

Will update on Friday once I get a chance to get things off and inspect, also any risk with driving without a hood ? I have a 1.5 hours drive home on the 407/400 and I know for sure the hood will fly up if I go 100+ just cause the massive upside down u shape it's now in. I can also try and pushing the hood down but still don't want to risk even more damage from the hood flying up and destroying my windshield and roof.

I do have a plain 99 civic I can use but it's having a t-belt tension issue.

Man sorry hear that, looked like a clean integra minus the bumper and hood. I'd keep it and fix since u put so much money into it.

Unless it's totaled then I would sell it or part it out and sell.

Running hoodless depends on the weather. As long as it doesnt rain and you dont hit huge puddles its fine.
After I crashed mine I ran it hoodless since it wouldnt latch. Got rained on once and almost ruined a lot of parts.
After that I beat the ever living **** out of the latch, hood, and support to make ot at least latch till I straightened the front end out.

With that damage along with the hole in the floor and rear wheel arch cancer, [bubbling paint] I would pull what I could use and find a shell in better shape, [rust free] I know that can be hard in Ontario but maybe out of province. 94

Have considered an EG/EJ1 shell or another DC one only thing is as you said rust free is hard to find and if you do it's not cheap. I have some pics of the rad support. I've now switched over to driving my civic.
