j32a1 head swap into d16y7 head
Does any1 know if swapping a j32a1 sohc vtec head from a 1999 acura tl onto a 1997 civic d16y7 block possible.I know the j32a is a v6,so would it give it more power and would i have to use the j32a ecu.Im trying to see if this would be a good project to persue.
lets use some deductive reasoning here.....barney style..
a v6 means it has two banks of 3 cylinders offset from each other. each of these has a 3 combustion chamber head perched on top.
a d16 is an inline four with 1 4 chamber head.
what the **** made you think this would work?

Maybe he could bolt one head on enough to cover 3 cylinders, then sawzall the second head off at only one cylinder and then bolt that up to cover up the last remaining cylinder. It could revolutionize the game! Don't be such a hater, bro.
