im stuck between doc race top mount $600 new on ebay. bwr ramhorn $500 or spoolin performance ramhorn $650. using a whc1 holeset with fully built ls. obviously looking for longitivety, whats your experience with any of these??

 

Stick with Spoolin' performance and be done. People don't "review" manifolds unless there's a problem. the one with the least number of problems wins.

 

Just a word of caution. I had to get the head flange surfaced .075 for it to be straight on my Spoolin performance log. I didn't report the issue I just paid the machine shop 50 bux to fix it.

 

I've had 13 of these manifolds in my area. Please remember, OP, they are made by hand... If that was the case, its a fluke that may have happened. Not to excuse it, but yours seems to be an anomaly. I'd still pick it any day over the BWR.

 

Spoolin will be the best quality. Worth the extra bill

 

Just wanna throw it out there that me and a few buddies have had very good luck with the PLM manifolds. No cracks, no creep, no complaints from us.
