A question about wheels?
Now most Honda cars do not come with a spare wheel.
Can anybody tell me if a spare-wheel from an old Honda Civic 1.4 will fit a latest Honda Civic 1.6 I-DETE car?
Regards

Thank you for your time taken to reply.
I am sorry for not being clear.
The Honad Civic 1.6 I DETE I am referring is the latest, new registration 2013 model.
I now have got a spare wheel & Tyre for my new Honda Civic 1.6 I-DETE. I am not comfortable without one spare wheel in a car. [You are correct in that the new cars-Hondas, do not have a spare wheel!!- But mine now has one!!]
The answer to my original post is that "No, spare wheel from a 1998 Honda Civic 1.4 will not fit a Honda Civic 2013 model. The old Honda wheel has 4 bolts whereas the new Honda wheel has 5 bolt to secure a wheel to the car.
So the answer is No.
Regards
Knowing which wheels you're referring to would also help. Different wheels have different characteristics.

as well, make sure you note which region of the world you live in. Here in North America, we don't have Civics with the I-DETE technology you are referring to, nor do we ave the 1.4L engines you speak of. I would presume you are in England or Europe.
