Newbie from western NC!
Quick info on myself.
I'm Josh, 27 and I live in the small town of Burnsville, NC(right outside of Asheville, NC and Johnson City, TN).
I've got a wife and 4 year old son.
For the past 7 years I've owned and worked on 3rd gen J-Body's(95-05 Cavaliers and Sunfires).
This was my 96' I was getting close to being "finished" with.
Was in the process of removing side moldings.

Then one day pulling out of my driveway the head gasket decided it didn't want to separate #3 and #4 cylinders anymore.
Long story short, decided I was burnt out in the J-Scene.
Had no local J's to hang out with, everyone here is mostly Scooby, Honda or Euro.
Well ever since I first became interested in cars, my dream car was a CRX.
Well after the wife's 99' Beetle busted the 4th oil pan, and the motor froze up we looked into a loan to get some new vehicles.
Found a 88' CRX hf with a freshly rebuilt D15b6 for super cheap on CL, and as long as we're approved for the loan Monday I'll be parking it in my drive way this week.
Here is a pic off of CL.

Goal for the rex is a clean daily driver.
As long as I pick up the car this week I'll start a progress/build thread, as I don't want to bore y'all with my hopes and dreams unless I know for sure I'm getting it.
Hopefully everything works out, looking forward to talking with everyone!
Been stalking the forums for inspiration!
Take care everyone!
