everything i have found on the crower stage 2 / 3 cam shafts has been nothing but positive, going to use stage 3 on my D16Z6 build, want the lump at idle

yeah on the sr20det it ran good too....

wait wat engine are we talkng about OP ?

based on my friends car that i tuned, brian crower stage three was pretty stout
needed a lil more than usual tuning to get the idle smooth.. but u know its cammed (not lopey it ust sounds bigger lol)

he then switched to brian crower stage 2 and IMO the gap from stage2 to stage 3 is too big, the stage 2 is a lil too mild... almost CTR like top end and but good midrange,

the performance gap from say.. skunk2 stage 2 to skunk2 stage 3
is small/decent

on the brian crower it seems like a stage1 to stage3 kinda gap...

but im sure others may have different feedbacks

-this on a b18c ITR motor , ported head, jdm p30 pistons, 4-2-1 long tube

i used the stage 2 non vtec cams a few years ago. my exhaust was too small so it cut out a few hp up top, but i wasnt insanely impressed with them. took until around 5000 rpm for the power to come on, at which point it just felt like regular vtec.

sold them to a friend who put them in a boosted motor. they did well in that engine
