I am a Uk based Honda fan having already owned a prelude, an HRV and now a classic 93 crx del sol which I have had specd to Type R, SS exhaust, alloys, front dam, aux lights, Car is transtop version with all electrics and 6 speaker JVC CD radio. Recent overhaul she is a fab runner even if an auto can give just about anything a run from the lights. 130 bhp through slick box!.

My only problem with her is an intermittent start. Everything works fine but occasionally she will not crank. Just a click and nothing. Several attempts and then she'll fire up no probz. Battery is fine and fully charged, all fuses and relays ok, earth leads look ok. I am guessing maybe either the starter motor is beginning to fail ( but why intermittent?) even though this has gone on for about 18 months, or maybe an ignition switch issue, though all other circuits appear ok - lights, horn, heater, radio, fuel pump, windows etc etc.

She is only 113000 miles and otherwise in fab condition and admired by neighbours and friends alike. Best convertible I ever had and its been glorious this summer here in the UK, but anyone got ideas on the starter issue?.
