CODE PROBABLE CAUSE for Honda Vehicles 1988 and later.

0 Faulty ECU (no signal)

1 Oxygen sensor or circuit.

2 Faulty ECU

3 & 5 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor or circuit.

4 Crank angle sensor or circuit

6 Coolant temperature sensor or circuit

7 Throttle angle sensor or circuit.

8 TDC position/crank angle sensor or circuit.

9 Crank angle sensor or circuit

10 Intake air temperature sensor or circuit.

11 No particular symptom shown or system does not operate - faulty ECU

12 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) failure

13 Atmospheric pressure sensor circuit.

14 Electronic air control valve (EACV)

15 No ignition output signal - possible faulty igniter.

16 Fuel injector circuit.

17 Vehicle speed sensor or circuit (VSS)

19 Lock-up control solenoid valve (automatic transmission)

20 Electronic load detector - possible open or grounded circuit in ECU wiring.

21 VTEC spool solenoid valve circuit (Civic & Del-Sol)

22 VTEC oil pressure switch circuit (Civic & Del-Sol)

23 Knock sensor (Prelude)
Map Sensor, Crank angle sensor, intake air sensor.

With that said, it seems like your map sensor is bad, or the wiring is messed up. Could be the vacuum line routed wrong too. Crank angle sensor, make sure you don't have the wires hooked up wrong on the distributor. That, or once again, your distributor may be bad. Lastly, intake air sensor. Pretty useless sensor in my opinion, but it's easy. The white plug on the intake manifold, probably not wired correctly or something simple.

What's a cam sensor? I have never heard of that. Crank angle sensor is a sensor inside of the distributor. They are hard to replace and it's better to get a new distributor for that. Or it could be a wiring mistake.

Not so on a DOHC ZC.
CYP sensor is mounted on the end of the exhaust cam.
Either way, it would throw a code 9. Not one of the codes listed by OP.

(FYI: when people want to NOT use the DOHC cam mounted sensor, they can use an 88-89 Integra distributor with the internal CYP sensor)

You many want to check to see if it was a dpfi and converted. The map sensor wiring may need to be re-pinned. That our your map sensor is shot. I check the IAT sensor too while your at it.

The 88-89 Integra distributor is like an 88-89 crx dx one except you need to run the 2 wires from the exhaust cam sensor to that it wires up like an 88-89 crx si distributor to work correctly. So basically you need an si distributor plug but then wire the dizzy up like a dx and then add the wires from the cam to make it all work.
