97 civic lx d16y7 starting troubles

Icon6 97 civic lx d16y7 starting troubles
Recently replaced headgasket and had head resurfaced now it wont start. Its in time, getting fire and getting gas it turns over but wont crank.please help open for any suggestions!!!!!!!!!

a buddy works on hondas he said valves are bent so i asked a certified mechanic he said the valves are bent but he isnt sure what the problem is

it has not sure of the exact results but he said it doesnt have bent valves

he said it helped that i have reliefs in the pistons
