Default Clutch selection

Before you flame yes I searched.

I'm building a d16 to have a max of 200 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. actual torque is somewhere around 170-180 ft/lbs
I was looking at the competition stage 2 clutch, but It only says an 80% increase in torque capacity over stock, not a concrete number like ACT or exedy.

I'm mainly looking for a clutch in the competition price range which is $240 before shipping.

any suggestions are welcome.

Default Re: Clutch selection

Stage 2 is about right with a good grip / jerk at clutch release. Stage 3 is rough and stage 4 is way beyond normal daily use.

Personally I stick to stage 2 since it gives you a little feedback with that jerk. I've tried stage 3 before and it was not fun. Took out the clutch in a week for a stock setup. Stage 4 not even going to bother.
