Icon2 91 Accord wont run after distributor O-ring replacement.

Hi my distributor was leaking oil from inside so I replaced the inside seal and outer o-ring. But after I reassembled the distributor it will not start. Now I have checked the spark plug wires are in the correct order. It cranks fine and seems like it wants to start but just keeps cranking. Now it ran like a dream before doing this replacement and it has fuel and spark. Is there anything that you guys can think of that I might be missing?

Maybe the rotor is 180 degrees off? I don't know if f22's have something special that keeps you from installing it backwards, but it's something you can check. At cyl 1 TDC, the rotor should be pointing at the dizzy's cyl 1 wire connector thing, whatever it's called.

you probably killed the dizzy or it's off 180 degrees, ask me how I know.

See if the dizzy can go in one way or both, in my f22b1 the dizzy goes in one way. In the f22b2 it goes both ways.

Your last culprit is you probably shorted the circuitry, or didn't put everything back together as it were.

Good luck
