This one may be a bit hard to diagnose, but recently my car has started making a single sharp click similar to a relay engaging when I decelerate. It only happens while the car is moving, making it all but impossible to track down conventionally. It happens whenever I take my foot off the accelerator, whether or not the clutch is engaged.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Motor mount?

 

My when I close the throttle quickly during the 3-4 up shift on my AT car the engine mount makes are rather large clicking sound.

 

if you could ballpark the sound location it would give us a better idea of what to suggest..is it really light like a relay clicking or is it louder than that
