results on mini me swaps?
does anyone have any good info on how they like there mini me swap? i'm wanting to do this to my winter car, but if its not worth it, i don't want to take money away from my racecar. thanks for any info.
speaking of minimes...i was talking to a honda mechanic whos got a fetish for fast civics...he said an rpm switch won't work too well, he said the best way to do it is to switch the harnii (plural of harness, duh) from obd1 or obd2 depending on your head. and to put that ecu in it too, otherwise you'll just dump fuel into the chambers and won't get as much gain as you could...So i am looking at that, but im soooo poor...ack

converting to obd1 assuming you have a 92-95 d16z6 head isn't that hard so why not. The ECU's aren't that expensive either if you look around

You can run OBD-I with a Y8 head, injectors, distributor.

i am very happy with my y8 head. High compression rules. i took the head a part and lapped the valves and put new seals on it. also did a light port and polish. i am running a zydne 1 one conversion. no problems really at all. everyone that rides in my car is impressed with the power. i have a y8 intake man. that i have yet to put on also. i think for the cost it is a very good swap.
