Yes I searched.
so I got my idk 5th accord recently and the windows in the rear didn't go up or down.. figured the regulators no biggie... well not the case.
should have tested first, but apparently for some reason the window motoors will only go up, and then it appears to be continuing to try to go up, therefore burning out the motors.
when I hook up the leads that go to the window regulator from the switch to my multimeter they rear 12v. when I pull up on the switch as if to roll the window up it says 0v(or something close to that useless) and when pushing down it still says 12v positive.
I disconnected the motor from the regulator track and it confirms this, when plugged in the motor just keeps chugging in the up direction
This is occurring on both rear windows, passanger and driver
I have absolutely no idea what could be causing this, and i'm unable to find a wiring diagram for the power window wiring. I know that it runs through the master switch but without a diagram I can't even get creative with dx it.
anyone with any ideas, experience or help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

ok so in the relay box under the hood there are only three relays, two for lighting and one for the horn.
near there is a big fuse for power windows which I tried switching around just for fun, and the problem still remains the same.
is their a relay that I'm not aware of? any other ideas?

Could be the master switch in drivers door. That's where it all starts. Never had to fix my 98 or 2000 but have repaired and interfaced with OEM power windows. They work by reversal of polarity. Most have both wires to motor connected to ground from master switch then though the passenger door switch to the motor. When ether the master or door switch is pressed one or the other is disconnected from ground and connected to + depending on direction. All ground comes from master switch. Door switches should have five wires. Two from the master, one 12+ign and two going to that motor.
Everything could be opposite of above with both wires sitting at +12 and switched to ground. never worked on every car.
connect your digital meter across both motor wires and not to ground. Should be 0 volts. Press ether direction and meter should be +12 in one direction and -12 in the other. If you getting something else connect across the two wires coming from master switch. If you see anything other then 0 volts unpressed check the master.
I'm pretty sure I remember a thread where someone posted the color codes for 6th gen accords. Search around.
