Ever since I've owned my car, I've had a bit of a valve tap. I decided that I finally wanna get it taken care of. I used to own a 95 dx and I had my valves adjusted, and it took all the noise away. I pulled out my engine stethoscope so I know its in the number 4 cyl, and it definitely is a valve tap, nothing else.

Now I need to figure out if the valves are adjustable in the 02 1.7l ivtec. If someone knows if they are, could you please help me with torque specs or anything else that could help? Thanks.

 

Valve lash is adjustable on the D17, last time I checked.
