obd2 h22 usdm p5m ecu use?
whats up ht! first off my plans are to swap an obd2 jdm h22a and run a usdm p5m ecu. anyway, hoping someone might be able to shed some light for me about this. spent plenty of time searching and still have a couple unanswered questions.
one. in a 97 accord which does not support the immo sytem, after I put the mobilizer in it, will it still start even without the transponder key and immo module?
two. is there anyone else using this ecu or has been through this and made it work successfully in an 96-97 accord without transponder key and module?
three. would it be best to convert to obd1 in between echecks?
now I have searched for the mobilizer chip which is 50$.
I know a obd1 p13 ecu is more than that, not to mention having to get a conversion harness.
any input will be much appreciated!

So I am in the same boat did u end up figuring it out? did u use a p5m? how did u get around immobilizer or did u just get a p13? I also dont understand what u mean by if the car is not equipped? does that mean if i get an obd2 p5m into my jdm h22a 98 civic will the immobilizers not stop the car from running?
