95 civic swap not sputters with p75 ecu
Hi guys , please some one help. I did a engine swap with a 1995 civic vx vtec-e and I put a 1995 Integra b18b1 engine in it. In other words a Ls engine . The thing is that with the p75 Integra ecu the engine runs like ;@:&&: and sputters , the rpm is all over the place and I loose power. When I put the p07 original civic vx ecu is runs fine but gives me all the vtec codes and it gives me like 18 mpg. And with p75 is also runs rich to the point where the cat turns red. Any help please I don't know what to do and I've done tune up new cat, new dizzy and it stills gives me problems . Any takers please ?!

any trouble codes? even if there's no cel on, you should still check for codes stored.
and check the timing belt to make sure everything is in time.
do a valve lash adjustment.
after the valve lash adjustment, do a compression test.
then warm it up and set the base ignition timing with a timing light. (distributor adjustment).
more than likely one or all of things will need to be adjusted, and are probably the cause for it all.

Thank you sir, well with the original p07 ecu I get codes 21, 22, and 41 I know the first two are vtec codes cause is a vtec ecu and code 41 is the primary oxygen sensor which I also replace and is still on. It also runs fine with the p07 ecu. With the p75 ecu it runs good for the first 15-20 minutes and that's when the sputtering and loose of power occurs and the car feels like is gonna die with no cells on. I will check for cells tho I algo the a compression test and cylinders 1 and 2 are 145 and 3 and 4 155 compression. I don't have a timing light to check for the timing tho . Any other ways to test for these ?

So I didn't think I would end to converted cause it was already a 4 wire conection from the engine to the new o2 sensor it just plugged right in
also there are no cells on the ecu and just check the timing and appears to be ok ... also if the timing was off wouldnt it do the same with the p07 ecu??
are you there sir? i just took the car for a ride and the vss code came on after a while with that p75 ecu and still sputters and all same problem
Jajajajajajaja I guess it's habit from work, but yeah that would need to be the next step if I'm able to get my hands on one. Thanks a lot tho and once I do I will post it see if that fixes anythning.
ok guys here goes the news, i put a p07 ecu from a 1994 civic dx 4 doors and the car runs good with no cells, im have yet to do a complete test but it runs fine. im guessing it was the p75 gone bad after all,, thank you for all the help
