Long time honda/acura owner
...and tinkerer. I came here to solve an issue, but since I do a lot of my own maintenance, thought I'd register and stick around.
Currently have 2002 Acura TL-S and recently bought 2003 Civic Si for my daughter.
My older daughter wrecked her 2002 Civic EX a couple of months ago
. She's about to graduate college, so we're going to wait and see what she wants when newly employed (fingers crossed). Before that, the younger daughter burned up my 2001 Honda Odyssey. The tranny was failing (150k mi.), and she pulled over on some high and dry grass that ignited (Texas drought and no breakdown lane available, unfortunately).
Older list includes an accord, and accord wagon. So I guess that makes me a Honda fan. With the exception of the tranny issue that affected both my Acura and the Odyssey, these cars have been very well engineered. Honda did make good on that '01,'02 tranny debacle, so I'm still here.
See you in the forums.
