Basically the top and the bottom of my radiator support was bent while working on my car, leaving a inch gap when closing my hood. My question is where do I drill or cut to remove my support? and will it be okay to remove a radiator support from a different car (same model) to weld back on mine?

my car is a 97 dx (ek) hatchback with a 99-00 front end.

 

Lok for spot welds, and yes unkess its damaged too
