I'm trying to disconnect a/c compressor until I can afford new one. It makes a screeching sound when I start the car and/or start up from traffic light or stop sign. Is there a fuse to do this? I don't see any that say A/C or compressor.

 

Sadly, you'd have to remove the belt... which if memory serves me right, would also disable the alternator.
