I have a 98 Accord 4cyl Auto Transmission that had gone out so I ordered a japanese 40k transmission to fix the issue. When it came in I was told the solenoids needed to be changed to usdm versions. I changed them over and then installed the tranny. Once it was in I started the car and the d4 light is flashing and check engine light is on. The car drives fine in gears 1 and 2 but in d3 and d4 its sluggish power wise to get going until it picks up speed and does not automatically shift. Code originally read p1170 which was solenoid I replced the solenoid then that code went away now I have p1173 code which is clutch solenoid but there is nothing wrong with it and has been tested. So im at a standstill I need to know if I should return the transmission if someone thinks it's broken or if theres anothee issue? Please help!!!
