Last night while parked, a lady opened her door into my rear quarter panel and took a pencil eraser sized chunk of paint off down to the metal. Thankfully there is no dent, but there is a chip. I've heard that with the right amount of time and skill, a decent touch up can look ok, but I've been made aware there are several routes to go.
The first is to clean, prime, paint a "blob" in the chip, allow it to cure, wet sand level, and repeat 3 or 4 times, then clear coat.
Here are other things I've seen:

Can anyone with experience advise?
