Default 87 honda civic alternator?

Hi. Ok, so here's the deal. I left my lights on and after jump starting it made it home but the next day the battery was dead again. So, i had it tested and charged and the battery is good. when i put the freshly charged battery back in and started the car the battery light comes on. The connections are clean and tight. So, I'm afraid it could be the alternator.

Charge the battery again, or jump start and drive to the nearest part store, they will test your system.... or get a voltmeter, on DC position for the correct voltage range <20V put the probes on the battery and you should have at least 13.0-13.5 volts at idle, and as much as 14.4 when you rev up the engine.

Of course check the tightness of the battery cables and the alternator wire(s).
