Hi, im having a valve sound, on my 1992 B16A2, especially at cold.
When is on working temp the sound comes and goes time to time, but a lot more quiet than cold.

I already adjust valves, the sound continues.

Could be LMAs? or something more serious?

Agreed. This is a good example of some sticking LMA's.

 

U can buy a set of h22's and use a .40" shim.

there is a big price difference betwen h22 and b's lma's

 

noob question. LMA's make that sound, if that sound gets louder and louder and say, you go 55mph and hit vtec @ 5k rpms, and then its louder than the engine and you hear a pop and the car stops cranking... what does this mean? :S

 

Any difference between H and B LMAs aside from height and price? Are H LMAs better?

currently doing this in both my civics. my washer was a bit thicker than. 040 i thin it was around .055. both motors using itr cams. so far so good ive got almost 10,000 miles on one of the motors
