I had a Momo Mod 08 that held up fairly well. It just drove me crazy knowing everytime I touched it, the suede was getting worn. I recently switched to a leather Momo Monte Carlo wheel and LOVE it.

suede steering wheels are meant to be used with suede racing gloves,, if gloves arent used your hands will wear away at the suede pretty quickly

Moisture and oil are suedes worst enemy. I would not recommend it if the car is going to be daily driven. Get yourself a leather wheel if it is.

That and dont let a girl drive the car. All the lotions/make up etc. on their hands will mess the suede up with the quickness! LOL

Mine lasted about 18 months before it started to get smooth. I still prefer it, although I use OMP gloves on it for added grip.

I agree. I had a half alcantara wheel for my M3 and it looked great when it was new. Over time, it wore where you gripped it the most. Still looked nice, but I wish they had the performance wheel in normal leather (all leather).
