Need help 95 Accord!
Hey guys! Starting off i recently got a Honda Accord 95
Before i got it it went thru a manual conversion (Dodgy)
Right so after say a couple of week/days i noticed if the car has been running for about 30 mins (give or take) its like the gears wouldnt catch on when i changed, say i go from 2 - 3 It'll catch on clutch out everything ill then start to accelerate it would sound like the clutch is in neutral and i am flat footing it...
Right so after i went to the mechanics he changed the master and slave cylinder, (The slave was hammered ripped right thru at the bottem)
So that worked out for a bit... couple of weeks,
Then i noticed it again, but this time it mostly only happens on the 5th gear(But not the same as before)
ok so ima already in 5th gear about 100 then i "try" to flat foot it, sometimes it sounds like the gears not in and in neutral then about 2~4 seconds later it would catch on and accelerate.. (Around 3 3.500 revs?) It revs and all, it just doesnt catch on.
Thanks guys for the help! if anyone can help... Cheers!!

Don't take this the wrong way....I am old, slow and stupid....but I can't really follow this at all.....and please know I'm just trying to help.
Best I can guess from the post...........
So you hammer the gas pedal in 5th gear at 100KPH (because if that is MPH - I'm done with this post!) and the rpm's go up but the car does not move faster? If so, the clutch is slipping. When the swap was done....please tell me a new flywheel and clutch set was installed?

I concur, with a higher load on the clutch from the higher gear, if the clutch is worn it will slip. And I do hope you meant 100KPH(60MPH). If upon inspection the clutch disc and wear surfaces appear fine, check the fingers of the pressure plate and that the Marcel spring is not damaged. If the spring no longer can hold tension it will not be able to hold any load. You will also want to verify that the bearing can slide along the input shaft fairly easily as well.
Lost Again -
Hahaha Yes i ment Km/h Ima from Australia, Lol
When it was swaped a new clutch was installed but for the fly wheel... i dont think so... Is there a problem with that? =/
Thanks alot for the input Lost Again
