94 accord lx, Wont start after sitting for a while
Heres the issue on my buddies car.
The car will start in the morning, get to work but around 12-1 it will not restart. If you wait 30 mintues or so, it will start up.
This was going on for a long time but now the car wont even start after we started messing with it. *****Car turns over and then dies******
From reading this forum Ive guessed
-Main relay
-Coil
-Thermostat ECT (the one under the distributor)
-Distributor
any other ideas?
Main relay is replaced.
Coil was replaced no change
****???***ECT was switched out real quick, just unplugged the plug from the harness and put the new ECT in without installing it, would an ECT work if its not screwed in to at least start the car or should I install it completely?
-Could this be the distributor? that part was the last part I didn't try becuase its a $180 part compared to the 50/52/and 20 ive spent on relay, coil and ECT
