Bored at current power level, but im in nazifornia
I currently have a 1990 crx si with a bard obd1 gsr. I was thrilled with the power of the car when i got it about a year ago but am now completely bored with it and need it to go faster.
Current upgrades:
skunk2 intake manifold
Dc 4-2-1 header
Short ram intake
Full 2.5" exhaust
S1 short geared tranny
Possible future upgrades:
JRSC
Skunk2 carb legal cams
A new ecu [currently running (poorly chipped) pr4]
How much would I benefit from the above upgrades and what would some other options be, keeping in mind a reasonable budget?
Thanks.

Well, if you want that feeling of hvaing new/more power you can do them in steps like:
New Tune for current Setup
S2 Cams and Another Tune
JRSC and A New Tune.
Then if you feel anywhere before the JRSC that it's enough for you then you can stop. Or you could just jump straight to the JRSC and have the most power you could have while being legal. It's really all up to you.

You cant compare a very mild all motor build to boosting. Thats quite a jump in power (and cost) so if all you want is a little more kick then go with the cam upgrade. Anything more than that and you'll start digging into heavier modification and more money. But lets face it, any real power takes real money. Boost is the most cost effective way to make real power. Now you just need to decide what you really want and have a conference with what you can afford.
