Was this happening before or after you swapped out the cluster?

I think the OP has a 5th gen. #32 in the underhood fues box "feeds" the combo switch. I'd test the dash dimmer switch as well. Lights on, ground the red wire to the dimmer - dahs lights should go full bright.

Oh yeah, Its a 94 accord. Lost, I havn't changed the cluster yet. I think you are right about the dash dimmer switch. I checked all the fuses under the hood and they are all good. I tried switching out the clocks and the new one did not work either. I have power going to 2 of the 4 wires that plug into the clock. Could the dash dimmer switch stop the clock from illuminating too? Thanks

Still having the same problem. I checked all the fuses (drivers kick panel & under hood) and they are all good. No dash lights and no clock. Anyone have any idea's on what the problem could be? Lost, Is there an easy way to get to the dash dimmer switch red wire?

The dimmer pops out. Use a tiny knife or any other non-destructive prying mechanisim to pry below the lower side of the switch housing.

So the clock never works?

On the dimmer.....confirm that the BLK wire has continuity to ground. Also with the head lights on - the RED/BLK should have 12v. Please confirm.

My clock is starting to flicker, but is lit 90% of the time. My kids asked why I don't fix it, hah. Not worth the money or effort, I said.

Mine went out a month ago. turned out to be the dimmer. Dimmer was bad. I got a dimmer in ebay for about 8 bucks. Replaced the previous one a my light came back on; however, one had blown, accessed cluster and got light bulb replacement at autozone. if you need to access the cluster You'll need to remove the center console if you do this and feel the urge to clean it USE compressed air, I removed stuff with a screwdriver and now my D4 light won't light up (there's a connection between the stick and the D4 light and I think i shorted it) I don't know how to fix that now.

My clock also won't turn on right, sometimes it's on and sometimes it's off, but that's because the connection to the clock is bad. I need to remove the radio and wiggle it to connect right.

I've been out of town for about a week, but will check today. The clock did not go out all at once, it would work awhile and then go out. Then work awhile and go out. It has not come on now in about 2 months.Same thing with the dash lights. I can get a used dimmer switch from the local u pull it if you think that could be the problem. Thanks for the help.

Well after replacing the clock and the dash dimmer switch I still have no dash lights or clock. Now that the time has changed (DST) its black dark when I leave in the mornings again. I am at a loss as to what to try next. All I can think of is I have a bad wire that supplies power to the dash lights and clock. Anyone have any ideas of what I can check next? Thanks
