Default **Need HELP: KYB GR2 shocks

I'm on a tight budget and don't need anything adjustible.
I don't autocross or anything like that, just daily driving in the city/highway

I've narrowed down to getting KYB GR2 non-adjustible shocks and going to combine them with my OEM ITR springs (which the springs will lower approx. .75-.95") for my EK civic.

Will this set-up work fine for me (ITR springs are 247Front/197-247Rear)?
Are the shocks slightly stiffer than OEM stock civic shocks?
Will the KYB GR2 shocks be better and more comfortable than using ITR spring/stock civic shock set-up?
Will the KYB GR2 last long, since my EK will not be lowered more than an inch.
