Default USDM sedan rear lights on a CRX?

As title, will a set of rear tail lights from a USDM EF 4 door sedan fit onto a UKDM CRX? They look like they will but just wanting to check?

Also did the same design come on the JDM models and where in the UK would i get a set?

Any chance of a reason why?

Too big? Don't line up? Different back that won't fit?

They are a tad skinnier and longer if I am not mistaken.

Could they be trimmed to fit or is the difference too much?

I wouldn't mind having to work with them so they fit.

Pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow. CRX will only fit CRX. They are not even close in shape or size.

Anything can fit with enough JB weld and bondo.

Why can nobody just tell me in what way they won't fit?

Too long? Too tall? Too deep?

Sounds like you might be up for modification if you need to.
I'm not really sure why though? My guess is that you really like the split amber and red corner.
The 90~91 USDM have the split amber/red on top of each other and the 88~89 is side by side like the CRX.

The only difference between the USDM and the JDM sedan tail is that the USDM has the black trim around the light and the JDM has chrome.

The shape of the tail looks the same, but it's only similar.
The CRX is much rounder

So you will need body work right there.
If you are up for that work, then you can certainly do whatever mod it takes to fit the sedan tails.
Go ahead and pick up a set and start that metal work!

Thank you for that, it tells me all i need top know.

I love the way the tail lights have the amber and red one above the other, would look really well on a CRX.

I'd say i'd need to get a set and just try to see so i know for 100%.

Anybody have a full set for sale like the ones in the pics?

If I didn't throw them out, then I have the left and right - no center - USDM in my garage somewhere.
One has a small crack, but won't get in your way to use for fitment.
$10 + you pay shipping from 91344.
