how do you know if the ICM needs to be replaced

Default how do you know if the ICM needs to be replaced

I've tested the Ohms on the ICM and it reads 3.2 on the 20k setting for the multimeter
only 2 of the 4 prongs give a reading.

any help?
does this even matter?

how do i know if it needs to be replaced?
